The Route…

The intrepid Freebooter will be running the Atlantic gauntlet again in May 2013.

 Departure...

Leaving from Fleetwood, Lancashire, UK on the high tide of Walpurgis Night (30th of April). The run will go to Dublin, Southern Ireland and then onto North America over the month of May. Pick up can be arranged from the airport in the UK at Manchester or Liverpool. Route may change depending on weather and sea conditions.

 The Yacht...

Freebooter of Fleetwood, 39 foot centre cockpit Dufour deep fin keel canoe bodied Bermudan masthead sloop. Launched 1999 with British letters of marque, yacht has crossed the Atlantic twice and seasoned in the North and the Irish Seas.

 The Scurvy Crew...

In addition to the captain and the navigator, there are positions open for 1-2 experienced crew specifically shift leader for the transatlantic (Maximum complement of 6).
